About Southeast Academy
Lead by Master Sergeant Marty Schafer since its inception, Southeast Academy moved to its current location in Norwalk in 2009 and expanded to include all high school grade levels in 2010. In its history, Southeast Academy has seen cadets enroll from 27 different school districts and has graduates that have served military careers in addition to producing alumni that have become doctors, lawyers, elected officials, and business professionals.
There is no obligation to join our institution. Southeast Academy High School is NOT a troubled youth program.

Southeast Academy High School offers an elite education in an exclusive school-wide Career Technical Environment in Public Services where academic expectations are high.
Leadership Sets the Tone of Southeast Academy
Our unique Leadership Program is the single most important feature that distinguishes Southeast Academy from other high schools.
Through perseverance and hard-work, cadets will earn privileges to lead and influence others. As a cadets you will grow as an individuals, gain a sense of belonging with a group of peers who share a common interest. All cadets recite our academy oath, this is their commitment to themselves, their education, family, school and community.
